Dr. Michael Hilton aims at finding access to care easy for all patients. Therefore, in 2019 we have expanded our services offering telepsychiatry to patients in Georgia. Telepsychiatry has been demonstrated to increase access for patients needing mental health services and has been found to be as effective as in-person care. Through telepsychiatry, Dr. Hilton can offer psychiatric coverage to those clients who find travel physically difficult due to their location and their conditions. Patients in Georgia are seen one time in the office prior to initiating telepsychiatry services. If needed, any patient can be scheduled for an in-person visit.

There is always a physician available for emergencies and other urgent issues.

The answering system will then assist the patient in contacting Dr. Hilton. If an emergency arises, and Dr. Hilton does not return the call within thirty minutes, you should try the number again. If the situation dictates, the patient should call or go to the closest emergency room.
